Motion Poem and Life Update
The past couple weeks have been insane and I wanted to share what I have been doing. I’ve been super busy with school work, writing poetry, and creating a website for a class. I’m loving the content I am creating but I have been a little overwhelmed. Now I am just taking it one day a time. This past week was a reminder that it is all going to be okay.
Even though there has been a lot of work to get done, I have made time to have some adventures. This past weekend, I went to UMW’s Spring Formal with Ben and the location was a surprise. So we dressed up, hopped on buses and headed to the surprise location: The Science Museum in Richmond. We had a delicious dinner, danced, and explored the Speed Exhibit they had open for us. It was absolutely lovely.
Then the next night I went to a concert with Clarissa in Richmond to see Kelsea Ballerini. It was a lot of fun and watching her perform made me want to make my wardrobe only be glitter and sequins!
This past weekend was a blast, but I also finished a project I have been working on since I went to New Orleans; a motion poem. I am sharing below. I loved making this and I kind of want to try to make one of my other poems into a video poem, but I am unsure which one. I hope you like it!
This poem is for Brooke Coffey, McGinley Geron, Emma Geron, and Clarissa Hoffman. I love you guys so much.
